Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student Organizations (CTSO) are an essential component of a strong CTE field.  Students enrolled in the St. Croix Career & Technical Education Center (CTEC) programs are required to register for membership to their associated CTSO.  The following information list CTSOs related to CTEC trades and programs.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the largest business career & technical student organization in the world. Each year, FBLA helps more than 200,000 middle school, high school, and college students prepare for careers in business. FBLA inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.​  FBLA High School helps students prepare for careers in business through academic competitions, leadership development, and educational programs.

Future Farmers of America (FFA) is an American nonprofit career and technical student organization, which offers middle and high school classes that promote and support agricultural education.  FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.  FFA develops members’ potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences, which give members the tools to achieve real-world success.  Members are future farmers, chemists, veterinarians, government officials, entrepreneurs, bankers, international business leaders, teachers and premier professionals in many career fields.

SkillsUSA (SUSA) is the #1 workforce development organization for students. serving more than 395,000 high school, college and middle school students and professional members enrolled in training programs in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations. SUSA empower students to become skilled professionals, career-ready leaders and responsible community members.

The National Technical Honor Society is an educational non-profit that exists to honor, recognize, and empower students and teachers in Career & Technical Education. As the honor society for Career & Technical Education, NTHS serves over 100,000 active members annually in both secondary and postsecondary chapters across the country.  Since its founding in 1984, nearly 1.2 million students have become NTHS alumni. NTHS honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides over $300,000 in scholarships annually, and strives to help connect education and industry to build a highly skilled workforce.

The Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. (TAI) mission is to advance knowledge, leadership and service through teaching, research, and outreach programs. A primary goal of Tuskegee AirmenInc. is to reach out to the youth of America and use the Tuskegee experience to mentor young people leading to careers in the fields of Aeronautics, Aerospace, and Aviation.  Today's TAI mission significantly enhances, supports, and promotes education and training opportunities that lead to successful careers in fields such as commercial pilot, engineers, aircraft mechanics, and many others.  TAI currently has 57 chapters to include Hawaii, the U.S. Virgin  Islands, and the recently chartered chapters in Italy and Ghana West Africa.
